In a rapidly developing market, many companies strive to improve the efficiency of the warehouse by optimizing the process of picking orders.
First of all, it is necessary to exclude unnecessary movement of the picker from the route. One of the options for such optimization is the introduction of the multipicking process (MultiPicking) – the simultaneous picking of goods for several orders in different boxes (containers). This is possible thanks to a properly configured WMS system and the equipment that will be used in the order selection process.
