A project to fill a warehouse in Vyshneve was completed. The facility was equipped with conventional pallet racks, drive-in racks and mezzanine warehouse shelving.
The warehouse is designed to store flammable materials. In this regard, it was necessary to ensure the possibility of normal operation of automatic fire extinguishing systems and the elimination of the fire source. To fulfil this condition, we manufactured “spill-over” storage shelves with extruded holes with a diameter of 2 cm and used a floor covering made of pressed grating.
The mezzanine is designed for manual handling of goods, so warehouse employees are constantly moving between floors with goods. To make the employees less tired when going up and down, we increased the width of the stairs by 20 cm compared to the standard ones and reduced the angle of inclination.
To protect the walls from impacts from loading equipment, elongated bumpers were made on the basis of the row end protection.
